The innovative design combines both a ‘v’ and ‘u’ shaped bottom, to enable a higher amount of sample retrieval, therefore creating a reduction in reagent wastage resulting in cost savings. Suitable for use with liquid handling automation, whether reformatting, cherry picking, aliquoting an/or normalization.
Cost savings can be demonstrated where a calculated amount of sample loss for a standard, non-Maximum Recovery tube (in this example, a 1.9ml tube) over one hundred runs is equivalent to 21,000µl (21ml). Compared to only 5,000µl (5ml) with the 1.6ml Maximum Recovery tube, resulting in a saving of 16ml over the same number of runs.
