Heat seals outperform all other microplate sealing methods, including cap, mat, and adhesive sealing, by eliminating the variability in sealing consistency experienced with adhesive seals, caps, or mats. The optimized sealing performance of heat seals enables the use of smaller reagent volumes, resulting in significant cost savings. As a result, heat sealing is the most cost-efficient method for a wide range of applications.

We provide the broadest selection of heat seal materials, offering sheet formats for manual or semi-automatic heat sealers and roll formats for automated heat sealers. You can select the most suitable seal based on various properties such as peelability, pierceability, gas permeability, optical clarity, temperature stability, and solvent resistance.

Our range also encompasses heat seals specifically tailored for use with our Individual Access PCR Plates, facilitating the sealing of each separate well for individual handling. Furthermore, our seals are manufactured in accordance with our ISO standards and are free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxin/pyrogen.
